Devoted supporters of Ariana Grande are urging that a individual who leaped a barrier and touched the performer during Thursday's Wicked: For Good premiere be detained or removed from Singapore.

A circulating video reveals the person identified as Johnson Wen shoving aside camera operators and charging at Grande while the cast proceeded down a event pathway surrounded by supporters.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo immediately pulled the stunned actress away from Mr Wen, who was observed being removed of the gathering by security officers.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "free after being taken in", though court documents indicated that he was due to attend court on the next day. It is uncertain if he was charged.

Record of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has crashed a performance. His Instagram profile features clips of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney performance in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the same location last year.

"Measures must be taken taken against him as this is obviously a legal violation," stated an Instagram user, in a reply to a video Mr Wen shared of his actions.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" a different Instagram user wrote.

Followers Show Disapproval Over Ariana's Past Trauma

Several supporters accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had revealed suffering from PTSD after a devastating incident at the conclusion of her spring 2017 show in Manchester, killing 22 people and harming hundreds.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented one more comment on Instagram.

Some supporters also criticised event staff at the premiere for not being vigilant enough; while different individuals demanded social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's uploads.

Response and Event Details

In clips circulating online, Grande looked startled when she was touched by the intruder. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen reassuring her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has not issued a statement on the event, and the premiere activities continued without further issues.
