Police have made public concerning footage showing a driver performing risky drifting maneuvers around a traffic circle during an unauthorized vehicle gathering, placing onlookers at significant risk of injury.
Judicial Ruling for Reckless Driver
A 23-year-old from the local area was given a jail term of 27 weeks, deferred for one year, after pleading guilty to reckless operation of a vehicle.

According to authorities, the video was filmed at an illegal automobile gathering in Portsmouth on 28 December 2024, showing the driver driving a pink BMW.

A police sergeant remarked: “Residents, drivers and our roads policing teams have had enough with these crowds of motorists selfishly taking over streets and parking areas and we refuse to accept it.”
He added: “They are not only a total disturbance, but they also place themselves and uninvolved individuals at risk of severe harm.”
He finished: “Our efforts will persist to prosecute these drivers and I hope these latest incidents serve as a warning: you will face consequences.”
